This not a file that I took from my old computer either. I am an administrator, and for whatever reason home edition does not allow to me to use the default administrator account which is the only idea that I've seen to fix this problem. Turn off your firewall and antivirus on the computer. Note: On Windows 8 and Windows 10, click on Change (next to Owner ). Connect your computer (or device) to your modem (bypass the router). Hit Enter to open a Disk Cleanup dialog box. Here’s what you need to do: Press Windows Key + R to open a Run window and type cleanmgr. If that’s not enough, let’s try cleaning up the system files using Disk Cleanup.

There is another Audible app-Audible Windows 10 App which also allows you to download the Audible books on Windows 10 and 8. People who currently have the app installed can continue to use it until July 31st, 2022. It would be much appreciated if anyone had some ideas? Right-click on the file or folder in question and select Properties. Note The Audible app for Windows has been discontinued on January 13th, 2022. Where it tells me who the current owner is, the box simply says "Unable to display current owner." I obviously need to take ownership of the file, but I can't find out how. I reinstalled iTunes thinking that it had been corrupted, but without any luck. The problem is that whenever I connect the iPod, iTunes completely freezes (if I start iTunes after connecting the iPod it will simply hang until its physically disconnected from the PC). "You do not have permission to view this object's security properties" Im trying to sync a first gen iPod Touch to my PC running Windows 7 64 bit. I have attempted to change the ownership through the security tab of the properties, but I do not have access to it. I have figured out that it is because I do not have ownership of this file. If I attempt to run, move or delete the file, I get a message telling me that I need adminstrator privilages to do the action.

This is a problem that I've seen a lot of things about, but none that actually match my situation.
